Just a quick update. Please be aware that only the founder can move items now that are in the wrong folder. This means we can only accept or reject now if something is not in the correct folder - all this is due to recent changes made by DA.
We do not wish to upset or offend anyone through declining works, but we are now in an impossible position. Please accept our appologies. (This update 18th January 2017).

I'd like to say a big thank you to the groups newest moderators
Some of you may be familiar with Carole already as she has been working hard for us managing the critique folder for a while and has been doing a marvellous job.
The group has grown to a lovely size and continues to grow month on month. We are at a stage now where I feel the time has come to change a couple of little ways we operate. don't worry, essentially we are exactly the same!
So... Some of you eagle eyed followers of
will have noticed that I have occasionally put up journals asking deviants to analyse their artwork with a critical eye before submitting to one of our folders 'beginner, intermediate, advanced' If you are unsure where you fit please visit the folders and take a look at the standard. In the past, moderators of this group have always accepted artwork no matter what folder it is placed in and then moved it if they feel the artist undersold or indeed oversold their artwork. This is becoming very hard to manage due to the amount of deviations we receive. In future, if a deviation is received into the wrong folder, we will decline it and ask you to resubmit to the appropriate folder. this makes the process much quicker and we will be able to get through more submissions.
I hope that this wont cause too much trouble. some deviants may think this unnecessary, but honestly when you see the amount of top quality deviations submitted to the beginner folder and vice versa you would be astounded!
Thank you all!
